It seemed like ages since I've updated. Anyway, been busy since last week, both with work and personal life.

It's funny how a twist of fate could do wonders to your life.

I had recently faced a HUGE disappointment of not getting my wish. I've applied for an abode of my own on the EAST side of the island, under the balloting scheme. Everything went well at first until at the eleventh hour, HDB called Hubby stating that the flat that we've applied for had been filled and that we don't have to go for our scheduled appointment the next day. How frustrating. Anyway, I still did some research and somehow managed to convince Hubby to apply for another area of the island, under walk-in. Anyway, we went to HDB, got the list of blocks that were still vacant under that area and off we went in search of our "Dream" flat. I must say, I never seen this side of Hubby who were as keen as me. He was busy crossing the list here and there, after we viewed each unit. We must have seen nearly twenty or more units. But somehow, nothing seemed to vibe with us. Either the environment or the flat itself. We were already giving up hope, tired, hungry and perspiring profusely, after walking under the HOT SUN for hours. We decided to push ourselves and give one more try. I told Hubby that if the last try we didn't vibe, then to forget the whole idea of finding our "Dream" flat.

So we walked to the last two blocks of flats. The first one didnt have a nice view. The second however,.... The moment we looked at the flat, both of us knew that we have found our "Dream" flat. The environment was calm and good, the neighbour didn't put their stuff in front of the flat that we've chosen and the best part, his aunty live just in front of our block and my aunty live nearby too. YEAY!!! We were both so happy and relieved. We rushed to HDB, filled in our applicaton form, paid the $10 and waited for our turn. Met the customer service, the finance side, paid our $2000 booking fee and congratulations, we got ourselves our "Dream" flat. We were beaming with happiness. *grinz*...

Life is great indeed when it's going your way.. Hope it stays that way....
